Pet fish, from the smallest guppies and tetras to large cichlids and sharks, are currently being kept in home aquaria. Although much research has yet to be done to improve the quality of care these pets receive when sick, there are many conditions that can be diagnosed and treated successfully already. It is unfortunate that when a problem is detected by the owner, treatments by trial and error are usually started before proper diagnosis. This can greatly reduce the chances of a full recover and lead to unnecessary losses.
Please contact us immediately if you notice your fish behaving in an unfamiliar manner or if you see any changes in their appearance
Since the tank environment is often a factor in fish health, house calls are often the best way to evaluate sick aquarium fish. Contact us to arrange a visit.
